She credits renowned composers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in her influences, along with an affinity for Bjork's style. After her mother said that the songs she composed might not be famous for her, however, but to encourage individuals to recognize their own value and impact to the world, she started playing them on stage. She began playing the piano at age six and writing music at age nine. It wasn't until her 14th birthday that she revealed her plans to her parents. Aurora's success was never the goal of her. The singer says that she simply likes writing songs. According to her, she believes that music can help anyone feel better.
