Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian song writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval of bloggers in the music industry and media. Half the World Away - by the Oasis to accompany John Lewis' Christmas ad and Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole - are already two notable covers that the singer has created. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry announced her new song Runaway. Celebrate the special occasion. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard within her loft and being fascinated by its music. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to pursue music as a passion rather than a profession. In the end, she began writing her own music. Her inspirations include famous writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her love for Bjork's style. To counter her mother's suggestions that her children shouldn't be trying to become famous with the songs she writes, but rather recognize the significance of their lives and their impact on society. She began playing the piano when she was six years old and started writing music at age nine. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known by her family until she was fourteen. Aurora wasn't a dream. According to her, she loves writing music. Music to her is the best method to experience anything.
