Angela Evelyn Bassett, an American actress, is known for her roles in film and television since the late 1980s. Bassett has been awarded a variety of honors, such as two Golden Globe Awards as well as sixteen NAACP Image Award. In the TV and film industry, she's known for her awards and nominations. Bassett was brought up by her aunt in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Her birthplace was and grew up at home in New York New York. When Bassett was about five She and her sister were moved into St. Petersburg, Florida to stay with their mother who had been divorced from her father. Bassett was in high school and watched John Steinbeck's production Of Mice and Men with James Earl Jones and she made the decision to pursue acting. Yale University New Haven Connecticut, where she received her bachelor's in African American and master's degrees (1983). The year 1997 was the time she was married Courtney B. Vance who was a fellow actor. Qualification: B.A. The Yale School of Drama awarded an M.A. in Fine Arts in African American Studies to Angela Bassett in 1980. She was a student at the school following: Jordan Park elementary school, Disston Middle School for 7th graders, Azalea Middle School for 8th and 9th grades and Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett is currently working as one of the main parts as Ramonda in the action adventure movie i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
